After nearly five years of working with Yocto and my love/hate relationship with
Eclipse, I've decided to create an Eclipse distribution that is basically
Eclipse Mars with a modified version of Linux Tools to fix all the remote
profiling/Valgrind, a modified Yocto Eclipse Plugin, the awesome
LTTng tracing plugins and a few extra plugins that I find useful
for Embedded Linux development using a Yocto based SDK installation.
Write up clear and consise Tutorials on how to use Eclipse for
Embedded Linux Development specifically targetted at Yocto based
Embedded systems.
The idea is to create a Yocto distribution and SDK for the Raspberry Pi
and showcase how to do application based development using Eclipse.
Tutorials on how to setup a terminal, use SSH/SCP for remote connections,
use the Valgrind suite of tools remotely, perform remote debugging
using gdb and gdb server, use LTTng from Eclipse, use the Yocto
Eclipse plugin or use the Eclipse CDT with a Yocto SDK.
